Studio shot ... and trying to be artistic.

Leave this to your imagination ...

Luv this pic cos i personally ask her to pose like this ... and the girl too ... she has the most innocent, girl-next-door look ... sighhh ...

If there's a bit of lighting play instead of flat, would be a lot more interesting. Sat 13-Aug-2005 18:35

Understand what u're saying ... but the studio was already set up like that ... with 2 studio flash - one left, one right. Would have been more dramatic, i guess, if only 1 light illuminating on one side.

Perhaps one day when I have my own studio ...

Oh, I have thought that whenever people shoot at the studio, they're in control of the lighting. I never had studio experience so never mind that. I don't even know how lighting in studio works but there are many occasions where I see great artistic photos that I'd like to try, but just went ARGHHHH because they were done in studio. In which God knows when I'll have the opportunity.

Good attempt though, with the pose and everything else.

Awesome display.

Unfortunately I wasn't with the spectators at the Padang but then it was exciting & fun just to wait in anticipation for the flypast & fireworks display.

Was caught by surprise at the start cos the fireworks was higher than expected.

menakjubkan!! Sat 13-Aug-2005 05:15

As above. Run-up to Singapore's National Day on 9th August 05.

This year's location has been changed to Marina South. Location chosen not that great cos we weren't sure where exactly the fireworks were gonna be launched.

More displays coming up - 8th Aug, 9th Aug & 14th Aug.

Gonna recce for new location tomorrow in preparation for the 8th.

Here are some of what I think are the best out of the whole lot (but still not so great IMO).

Wow.. nak sambut Mayang balik, sampai main bunga api semua !! Bravo ! Bravo ! Terharu nih...
I think these are fabulous shots anyway SD !!

Was with a group of photography friends & enthusiasts covering a charity event.

Dr. William Tan, a paraplegic since young, is attempting to break a Guinness World Record of 181.2km to go round a stadium track on a wheelchair for 24 hours. This attempt is to raise funds - $100k - for CanTeen, a charity organisation for cancer-stricken teens.

Website live updates of our photos are at www.shutternews.com.

These are fantastic bro !! Suka tengok your fish eye and panning shots tu.. especially the last two !! Anyway, how did the Dr. do ?? Mon 1-Aug-2005 21:24
