Portraits of Friends

Sharing some portraits taken over the weekend.
Last three pics were taken in a studio using a borrowed Nikkor 105mm fully manual lens. This piece of glass is really awesome!! Gives you really sharp pics! Unfortunately it's a fully manual lens so it took me quite a while to get my subjects in focus. Even then I couldn't really tell if they were in focus thru the small viewfinder of my DSLR.
There's an AF one selling at about SGD$1k. Definately this is one lens I must get!

She's my one & only favourite Malay artiste ... besides P. Ramlee.

Final fireworks display for the SFF and the closing of the National Day Carnival @ Marina.
The fireworks was excellent but as there was no wind, it became very smoky.
Don't think my pix this time is good too.
