HSBC Wakeboarding World Cup Championship 2005
These were taken last year in October ... right smack during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadhan. Regardless of the heat, I still went down to Bedok Reservoir, where the event was held, to capture some of the exciting acrobatic acts of the world class wakeboarders.

Bukit Chandu - HDR Image
Here's my first HDR image of a bungalow at the top of Bukit Chandu. The bungalow is now converted to a heritage centre housing WW2 memoribilia. Bukit Chandu is a place where the Malay Regiment, greatly outnumbered, fought fiercely till the last man against the Japanese invaders.
This place makes me proud to be a Malay & a Singaporean.
Ta'at Setia!

Was given the opportunity to shoot when the Malaysian King paid a visit to The Malay Heritage Centre with his entourage, which incuded his wife and M'sia's Minister of Foreign Affairs & wife. Also in his entourage was, I think, the King's son & family.
Here are 2 collages for your viewing pleasure. Feel free to comment & critique.
Cheers!

Home Studio Test

Got myself a small & simple lighting system with a light tent for product shoots. For one person, I think the lights that I got is sufficient. Not sure how big a group these lights can be used on.

Voted The Most Beautiful Malay Woman
Was given the opportunity to shoot yesterday, 25th jan 06, when the Agong of Malaysia visited The Malay Heritage Centre.
Among the special visitors from Malaysia was the beautiful Normala Samsuddin, ex-TV3 presenter of Nona, who was once voted the most beautiful Malay woman. Of course, she's now a "Datin". She is indeed beautiful.
Meeting her face-to-face really made my day ... hehe ...

Here are a few pictures taken on Sunday, 8 Jan 06, when the sheeps were delivered to the masjid. I was at Masjid Sultan but it was raining the whole day, so I didn't not manage to capture as much as I wanted to ...
